AIDA64 December Update

Support for the upcoming Intel Sandy Bridge processors

AIDA64 CPUID Panel, Cache & Memory Benchmark panel, System Stability Test, and all memory and processor benchmarks are now fully optimized for the upcoming Intel Core i3/i5/7 “Sandy Bridge” desktop and mobile processors, and the upcoming Intel P67 “Cougar Point” motherboard chipset. CPU AES data encryption benchmark utilizes AES-NI hardware acceleration on the new Intel processors.

AVX-optimized 64-bit benchmarks and System Stability Test

FPU Julia, FPU Mandel and CPU Hash benchmarks utilize Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) of Intel Sandy Bridge processors. System Stability Test module has also been enhanced to put even more stress on the system using AVX optimizations. Note: To unlock AVX capabilities of the new Intel processors, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is required.

64-bit multi-threaded VP8 video encoding benchmark

A brand new 64-bit multi-threaded HD video encoding benchmark, based on Google’s VP8 (WebM) video codec. The revamped 64-bit CPU ZLib data compression benchmark is also available to provide better support for both old and brand new hardware configurations. For legacy processors all benchmarks and the System Stability Test are available in 32-bit version as well.

Support for the latest graphics technologies

Graphics processor and GPGPU details, temperature and cooling fan monitoring for the latest GPUs: AMD FirePro V4800/V9800, AMD Radeon HD 6370M, AMD Radeon HD 6950/6970/6990, nVIDIA GeForce GT 540M, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SE, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 570. Exhaustive Direc3D and OpenGL video card capabilities detection with DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.1 support.

Enhanced support for nVIDIA RAID controllers

RAID member drives enumeration, HDD and SSD temperature measurement, and SMART disk health status detection for nVIDIA RAID controllers.

Estonian localization

AIDA64 user interface is localized to 37 languages, including Estonian now.
