Privacy Policy for AIDA64 Mobile Applications

FinalWire Ltd. ("we" or "us") respects your individual privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to the use of our mobile apps ("Applications") on any platform. Through this Policy we want to explain the practices we upheld regarding what information is collected, its use and disclosure in reference to our Applications. By using our Applications, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy. This Policy covers collection, use and disclosure of your information through the Applications

Data collection

  1. Automatic data collection

    Our Applications do not collect or store personal or non-personal information.

  2. Submitting a report

    Our Applications may collect your personal information when you voluntarily opt to submit a report of your device. The submitted report always goes through the installed e-mail application, hence it can be fully verified before sending it to us. We may use your personal information to communicate with you. We do not use the personal information in reports to send you product surveys or promotional mailings, and we do not share the personal information with our partners or affiliates.

  3. Google AdMob

    AIDA64 for Android and AIDA64 for iOS use the Google AdMob framework, which is governed by its own privacy policy and may use your information to serve personalized advertising. Any personal information collected or transmitted by AdMob is not received by us. No other ad networks are used by our Applications. AIDA64 for Windows Phone, AIDA64 UWP, AIDA64 for Sailfish, AIDA64 for Tizen, and AIDA64 for Ubuntu Touch do not use any ad networks.

  4. In-app purchases

    AIDA64 for Android and AIDA64 for iOS use in-app purchases ("IAP"). Google Play and Apple iTunes IAP use information about your account and device to verify purchase status. We do not know the identity of users who make in-app purchases. Limited payment details provided by Google Play and Apple iTunes are stored and used strictly for accounting and tax purposes. AIDA64 for Windows Phone, AIDA64 UWP, AIDA64 for Sailfish, AIDA64 for Tizen, and AIDA64 for Ubuntu Touch do not use IAP.

Required app permissions

  1. AIDA64 for Android

    AIDA64 for Android requests the following permissions on your device:

    • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
    • ACCESS_WIFI_STATE -- also known as Wi-Fi connection information. AIDA64 for Android requires this permission to show Wi-Fi network information like signal strength and SSID.
    • INTERNET
    • CAMERA. AIDA64 for Android requires this permission to show camera information like picture resolution. AIDA64 for Android does not take any photos or videos.
    • On Android 4.0 to 4.3: READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE -- also known as Photos/Media/Files. AIDA64 for Android requires this permission to detect external storage (SD-card) total and free space.

     

  2. AIDA64 for iOS

    AIDA64 for iOS requests the following permission on your device:

    • Location Services. AIDA64 for iOS shows your current location on the Sensors page using GPS signals. Your location is not stored or shared.

     

  3. AIDA64 for Windows Phone and AIDA64 UWP

    AIDA64 for Windows Phone and AIDA64 UWP (together: "AIDA64") request the following permissions on your device:

    • Internet
    • Removable Storage. AIDA64 requires this permission to detect external storage (SD-card) total and free space.
    • Webcam. AIDA64 requires this permission to show camera information like picture resolution. AIDA64 does not take any photos or videos.

     

  4. AIDA64 for Tizen

    AIDA64 for Tizen requests the following permissions on your device:

    • packagemanager.info
    • systemsettings
    • network.get
    • camera. AIDA64 for Tizen requires this permission to show camera information like picture resolution. AIDA64 for Tizen does not take any photos or videos.
    • appmanager.launch
    • telephony

     

  5. AIDA64 for Ubuntu Touch

    AIDA64 for Ubuntu Touch requests the following permissions on your device:

    • networking
    • sensors
    • camera: AIDA64 for Ubuntu Touch requires this permission to show camera information like picture resolution. AIDA64 for Ubuntu Touch does not take any photos or videos.
    • webview: AIDA64 for Ubuntu Touch requires this permission to detect CPU clock speeds.
