Migrating to AIDA64 v8.xx and Windows compatibility
AIDA64 v8.xx officially supports only 64-bit Windows 10 or newer operating systems.
On Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1, the application may not start unless the required Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) is installed manually.
In the case you want to run AIDA64 on 32-bit systems or previous Windows versions refer to the Legacy Compatibility page.
For details on migrating to AIDA64 v8.xx, see the Best Practices guide.
How to install
AIDA64 beta updates are provided only as ZIP packages. To upgrade to a new beta build, close AIDA64, download the ZIP package, open it, and extract all its contents into your existing AIDA64 installation folder, allowing the files to be overwritten. Your previous settings and license will be preserved during the upgrade.
If you have a valid license entered in AIDA64, you can also enable automatic beta updates by going to AIDA64 Preferences / General page / Update type to Stable and beta updates.
