AIDA64 includes built-in support for real-time FPS (frames per second) monitoring in supported games. The FPS value can be displayed directly on the Core SensorPanel.
Requirements
- AIDA64 Extreme version 8.30 or later
- A supported graphics API (currently DirectX 11 and DirectX 12)
Enabling FPS Display on the Core Panel
If you are using a fresh installation of AIDA64 8.30 or later, the Core SensorPanel already includes the necessary FPS elements.
To enable FPS display:
- Open the SensorPanel.
- Right-click anywhere on the panel to open the context menu.
- Select SensorPanel Manager.
- In the list of layers:
- Locate the layer named gears.png and hide it.
- Locate the layers named FPS and AIDAFPS and make them visible.
- Close the SensorPanel Manager.
The FPS value will now appear on the SensorPanel when a supported game is running.
Updating the Core Panel After Upgrade
If you upgraded from an earlier AIDA64 version and are already using the Core SensorPanel, the panel layout may not update automatically. Please note: Any customizations you previously made to the SensorPanel will be lost.
To load the updated Core Panel:
- Open the SensorPanel.
- Right-click and select SensorPanel Manager.
- Select all layers in the list. Delete the selected layers.
- Close the SensorPanel.
- Reopen the SensorPanel.
The updated Core SensorPanel will be loaded automatically.
